Wow! We are fast approaching the date of our initial organizing workshop for the "Social Savvy Seniors Network.  We have seven senior citizens scheduled to participate in the Social Savvy Seniors Network Workshop event beginning November 1, 2011.  The objective of this workshop is to support our "Cause" of increasing grassroots "Civic Engagemen"t starting at the local level.  Our primanry goal is to increase the pool of social capital, specifically targeting retired professionals   These seven brave individuals are retired school teachers, financial advisors, ministers, and then me, (Lezah) (a jack of all trades and a master of none). I'm don't consider myself an expert, but I do have knowledge, faith, and passion for community.  There is room for my facebook friends to get involved.  Those of you who know how to set up a teleconference, groups, or pages using facebook could be a great asset to jumpstarting this project.  I am invisioning this to be a regional or national group of civic organizers and volunteers.  Some of you already have community projects with national objectives.  The Social Savvy Seniors Network is your opportunity to expand your programs and get new supporters.  There  is no cost to join, but you must be connected by way of "friend or referral of Promise Seed CDC, Inc and Lezah Rous Edwards.  Just send me an in box message stating the name of your referral and how you would like to participate.  We are still encouraging you to financially support our "CAUSE" of Increasing Civic Engagement, by clicking the donation button at http://facebook.com/promiseseedmarketplace and making a tax deductible charitable contribution. Promise Seed refers to "One" perfect Son, who is the Spirit of Christ living within the Children of God.  I am listening to the book of Matthew (Chapters 17 and 18). Let me first say that even though I am groaning and suffering rejection, I forgive my Brothers and Sisters.  The reality and practicality of my present situation is my constant effort to receive a cool drink of water, some strength of these earthly treasures have fallen on a  "dry and weary" place".  This does not dimenish me.  For I have learned to be satisfied whether well feed or hungry.  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.   But, it is true we as children of God have neglected each other.  As sisters we need that water, and as brothers we need that good ground.  Because what good is a Seed without Land, and vice versa, what good is Land without Seed.  We Christians are of Divine Heritage, our ultimate expression of true character is Godliness. God and His Son, Christ Jesus are one.  It is the Promised Holy Spirit that brings us into communion with THEM.  When we come to God we must come to him like children (Sons and Daughters).  Jesus is the ultimate true expression of Sonship.  When we walk and talk like Jesus, we always honor the Father who loves His Child(ren) who are His Promised Seed to thousands of generations who love Him.  Are you Promise Seed?   If you would like to be an inspiration to others to rightly claim a divine inheritance through Christ, please connect with us here or any of the other sites listed in our Menu.  I

By nature I am a giver. But there are things that I want to do that require more than my personal resources can fund.  I am proud to "Annouce" that Promise Seed CDC, Inc. can now accept "DONATIONS" at our FB Fanpage "Promise Seed Marketplace". When you visit us, just Click on the "Causes Button" on the left of the page.  Long term plans for PSCDC, Inc. is to provide a "mini" community developed on 10 acres of wooded property for families living with disabled adult children. Currently we want to provide "Day treatment Social Network Communities" for "Seniors" and "High Functioning Autistic Adults".  We will perform this work in a faith-base, secure and trusted setting.  What we need is transportation, computers, supplies, professional services, volunteers and staff.
