Hello, and thank you for visiting, and sharing with me. It's been about 6 months now setting up this site. My purpose being to showcase the intricate details of what I call The "Promise Seed" Life. I am Hazel Chism, also called Lezah Rous Edwards (Pen). I am a Child of God through faith in His Son, who is Christ, my innermost being. I live by faith in Him and seek to connect on a global level with the "Body of Christ", the Church. I also hope to connect with those that don't know Christ. If you believe you are "Promise Seed" you can connect with me for the purpose of gaining strength and encouragement to be and do all that Christ would have you do. But don't take my word for it. Christ knows those who belong to Him, and He is calling you into a relationship with himself. When all that we have tried and spent our resources on does not fill that void that you cannot name; this is Christ, learn of him through his Holy Scriptures and you will know the Truth and Truth shall make you free.
This site is a production of Lezah Rous Edwards (The Pen Name and Brand) for the founder and director of Promise Seed CDC, Inc., in Jackson, TN . Growing up in Savannah and Tybee Island Ga. you would think that such a place with such a rich heritage and focus on tradition would automatically mean a rich spiritual heritage. Not so...since moving to TN as a college student I can tell you that you need to be focus early on in your spiritual life. It is almost impossible to build the trusting relationships afforded through family and native community when you transplant to another community hundreds of miles from home. But thank God for social media.
With that said I am willing to share my thoughts on what I feel is the most important relationship each person needs to live what I call the Promise Seed Life. I think it will make for good conversation while maybe helping someone to know that you don't have to go it alone. It is an ironic but a true saying, "I can do bad by myself. On the one hand there are people that will hurt you even though you have only helped them. There will come a time when you have to just let them go. Some will consider this selfish, but we as Promise Seed we know that we are never alone as long as we live through Christ. So just let me say it is a journey, life's subtle progression into the future. But for me, a personal relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus who is the Promised Seed of God, gives me access to everything I need to live in these present times, and gives me hope for life beyond three scores and ten.
Promise Seed is when you can give, though you need help for yourself. Reciprocity is fuel for the spirit that loves one neighbor as self. Promise Seed does not seek out recognition, it's just doing the right thing, giving credit where credit is due. It is the opposite of taking credit for something that you have not contributed to. Each of us as Promise Seed has been given a unique gift to express our unique purpose for the oneness of community. To that end, a portion of any revenues or donations collected here will benefit Promise Seed CDC, Inc., a tax-exempt not for profit organization incorporated in the state of Tennessee.
